Description
OMNISTRIP Wound Closure Strips 6x38 mm
Non-woven strips coated with strong acrylic adhesive used as external sutures for closing small wounds and incisions, or as protection for traditional stitches and staples, as well as to reduce tension on the wound edges. They increase patient comfort – they do not create a pulling sensation like traditional stitches. By bringing the edges of the wounds together without additional tissue damage, the risk of scarring is significantly lower. Omnistrip strips feature breathability and good moisture vapor transmission. The strips have rounded corners, which prevents curling. The strips do not contrast in X-rays – there is no need to remove them for imaging. Due to their flesh-colored appearance, Omnistrip strips are less visible than other similar products.
