Description
BECTON DICKINSON 1.2 x 40 mm 18G Safety Medication Needle
A 40 mm long needle, cut at a 45° angle, with a blunt tip. The unique needle design prevents stopper debris and other contaminants from entering the preparation and also prevents needle stick injuries (the force required to penetrate tissue is 10 times greater than with traditional needles). Piercing the container stopper requires only 2.5 times more force than with sharpened needles. The needle is suitable for withdrawing thick and viscous substances. Different color coding of the base and colored cover prevent confusion with standard needles.
