Description
OMNISTRIP Wound Closure Strips 25x127 mm
A nonwoven strip coated with a strong acrylic adhesive used as an external suture to close small wounds and incisions, or to secure traditional sutures and staples, and to reduce tension at wound edges. They increase patient comfort – they do not cause the pulling sensation associated with traditional sutures. By bringing the wound edges closer together without additional tissue damage, the risk of scarring is significantly reduced. Omnistrips are air permeable and allow for good water vapor release. The strips have rounded corners to prevent curling. The strips are radiopaque, so there's no need to remove them during x-rays. Thanks to their flesh-colored appearance, Omnistrip strips are less visible than other similar products.
