Description
BD Vacutainer® Safety-Lok™ Butterfly Needle 0.8 x 19 mm 21G with HOLDER
The Vacuteiner needle is a closed, sterile system for venous blood collection. The Safety Lok mechanism prevents accidental needle stick injuries – after blood collection and needle removal, the sheath (integrated into the butterfly) slides over the blade, completely covering it. A click indicates that the needle is properly secured. The mechanism can be activated using just one hand. The 17.8 cm needle tube is equipped with an adapter and a holder (guide) enabling the connection of the Vacutainer needle to tubes with a factory-set negative pressure.
