Description
BD Vacutainer® Safety-Lok™ Butterfly Needle 0.8 x 19 mm 21G with HOLDER and 305 mm Tubing
The Vacutainer needle is a closed, sterile system for venous blood collection. The Safety-Lok mechanism protects against accidental needlestick injuries – after blood collection and needle removal, the sheath (integrated with the butterfly) slides over the blade, completely covering it. A click indicates that the needle has been properly secured. The mechanism can be activated using just one hand. The 30.5 cm needle tubing is equipped with an adapter and a holder (guide) for connecting the Vacutainer needle to tubes with a factory-set negative pressure.
