Description
VACUETTE® Tubes ref. 454204
Plastic tubes with a factory-set vacuum pressure allowing for the collection of precise volumes. They come with color-coded VACUETTE® Safety Caps. Used for collecting blood for biochemical tests, the tube walls are coated with microscopic particles of silica (silicon dioxide) to accelerate clotting. The particle coating activates the clotting process immediately after the collected material is mixed in the tube. The advantage of this product is that it can be used in a wide temperature range, clots quickly (less than 10 minutes), and meets the requirements for rapid clinical and emergency testing.
