Steam indicator strip SIL-250 multi-parameter chemical tests for steam sterilization
Multi-parameter chemical indicators for monitoring the steam sterilization process are made in the form of a perforated paper strip with a blue test substance applied to it. The Class 4 chemical indicator responds to two or more critical parameters of the steam sterilization process. The indicator's response time is controlled by a precisely selected, non-toxic chemical composition, which is free of lead and other heavy metals. After proper processing, the color changes from blue to black within the temperature range of 121°C - 134°C and within 20 - 3.5 minutes. The indicators are suitable for use in packages containing at least metal tools, porous materials, rubber, plastics and cotton underwear.
