KD-FIX PUR Venflon 2.1 x 45 mm ORANGE ref. 766217M
Intravenous cannula, commonly known as a venflon, is used for the direct infusion of fluids, medications, blood, and its components, as well as for blood sampling. A product from the reputable and well-known company KD MEDICAL (KDM). The KD-FIX is equipped with a side port with a hydrophobic filter plug, stabilizing wings (attachments), a transparent control chamber (visual inspection of the insertion), and 2 X-ray lines (for contrast in X-rays). The mandrel (catheter) is made of Polyurethane (PUR). The introducer needle is made of high-quality stainless steel with a beveled tip for easy placement. This is a single-use product, non-toxic and non-pyrogenic, color-coded. Packaged in paper-foil blisters of type Tyvec
