Description
Cytofix 150ml Fixative for Research
CYTOFIX is an aerosol preparation for fixing biological smears collected on microscope slides, before their subsequent evaluation.
Advantages
- exclusion of diagnostic errors - each preparation is fixed individually, so there is no possibility of transferring cells from one slide to another, as was often the case when using the liquid "spirit-ether" fixative. All cells present on the slide before fixation remain on it also after fixation.
- full fixation of the collected material - no unfixed areas observed
- smears can be stained without fear of washing out or distorting the cells, protection of the material against mechanical damage during transport to diagnostic centers
- fixed smears can be stored for at least 30 days
