Description
BD Vacutainer® Safety-Lok™ Butterfly Needle 0.6 x 19 mm 23G
The Vacutainer needle is a closed, sterile system for venous blood collection. The Safety-Lok mechanism prevents accidental needle stick injuries – after blood collection and needle removal, the safety guard (integrated into the butterfly) slides over the blade, completely covering it. A click indicates that the needle is properly secured. The mechanism can be activated using just one hand. The 30.5 cm needle tube is equipped with an adapter enabling connection of the Vacutainer needle to tubes with a factory-set negative pressure.
