Description
BD Vacutainer® Safety-Lok™ Butterfly Needle 0.8 x 19 mm (21G x 3/4" x 12")
The current batch has an expiration date of June 30, 2027. The Vacutainer needle is a closed, sterile system for venous blood collection. The Safety-Lok mechanism protects against accidental needlestick injuries – after blood collection and needle removal, the safety cover (integrated into the butterfly) slides over the blade, completely covering it. A click indicates that the needle has been properly secured. The mechanism can be activated using just one hand. The 30.5 cm needle tube is equipped with an adapter enabling connection of the Vacutainer needle to tubes with a factory-set negative pressure.
