Description
BD PRO Venflon with a 0.9x25mm 22G injection port and INSTAFLASH needle
Manufactured from biocompatible polyurethane (BD Vialon™), its unique properties allow for sharpening and stiffening of the cannula tip (increasing the likelihood of first-time needle stick injury). At the same time, after insertion, the catheter softens, reducing the risk of thrombophlebitis. The cannula's shape is based on the clinically proven BD Venflon. The obturator protects the inner lumen of the cannula from coagulation and clot formation after the infusion is completed. The cannula is X-ray-enhanced. The improved needle (INSTAFLASH technology) improves the success of the first puncture attempt and provides quick visual feedback on successful insertion.
