BD POSIFLUSH XS 10 ml Sterile Saline Syringe
Ready-to-use, pre-filled syringe with saline solution (NaCl 0.9%) for flushing intravenous catheters. BD PosiFlush™ meets all the requirements for flushing intravenous catheters. All features are combined in one product.
BD PosiFlush™ XS syringes sterilize both the contents and the interior of the sealed or undamaged package (for use in a sterile field). It is designed for the ANTT®** surgical technique, which requires a sterile field. Pre-filled syringes, such as BD PosiFlushTM, have been shown to reduce the risk of bloodstream infections by up to 60% when switching from manual to pre-filled syringes.
